FRASER RIVER

The Fraser River is now open for  full size Chinook Salmon fishing ....fish are moving in groups...some days just a few, then a good amount...bars are starting to show well now and water clarity is looking good

Best spin-glos are usually . Chrome/red and chrome/green...watermelon also works well for me

Sockeye Forecasts are still not sure yet, but ocean numbers are showing the runs run will be good and likely an opening in August.... could be as early as the 6th ...most likely the 13th.

CHINOOK BAR FISHING SPECIAL

Sturgeon fishing has been on and off , but with more salmon coming into the river, things will improve dramatically over the next few weeks...best baits right now are Pikeminnow, roe and eels

CHILLIWACK/VEDDER RIVER

Chilliwack/Vedder River is now open for Red Chinook and small rainbow trout....hatchery only on these small fish...Great fishery for kids and beginner fly fishers.

Chinook are mainly upriver and starting to colour up...should be some good fly action for Sockeyee heading to Chilliwack Lake shortly...red flys and muddlers do well for these fish

HARRISON RIVER

The Harrison River is fishing very big right now ...lost of cutties just released from the hatchery in there heavy feeding on anything...Flys Spinners and worms also do very well...some big Pike minnow also around...lots of whitefish too!!

CHEHALIS RIVER

The Chehalis is open for summer Steelhead...some Chinook later into July..cutties always around here too.
